They have to match your outfit. You can't possible wear brown shoes with black clothing, or vice versa. Plus, you need different styles for different places that you go.

Yes, it was more than just family. And like I said, my uncle can't get married anyway. I don't know why they even bothered with tossing the bouquet and the garter. The only people that went up for it were the ones that were forced to. What's wrong?

Even if I had tried to hide, they would have tried to find me. There wasn't a lot of single people, it was mostly older people at the wedding. And I think no matter who had caught the garter, it would have been a family member My uncle who caught it is studying to be a priest, so he can't get married anyway.

Yesterday at my uncle's wedding, I was forced- against my own will- to go out for the bouquet toss and ended up catching the bouquet. But I was set up. The first time the bride threw it, she threw it to the side and it hit the wall. So then she threw it again but she wasn't turned around, and she threw it straight at me. And of course my parents made a big deal about it.
