Maybe he has,but seriously though,we have to consider the source here. Is it possible hes telling the truth? Yes,but its far more likely hes just giving his team some confidence going forward.

1 year older is one year closer to physical maturity,it wont be a huge difference but noticeable. By the way,no one has mentioned Brian Lawton. He was picked first overall ahead of Yzerman,Lafontaine and Barrasso.

No touch icing may take that 1 in 100 excitment chance away but it does NOT slow the game down.

Thats incorrect actually. The Leafs have led the entire NHL in points a few times when there were no divisions and won some division titles when there was a Canadian division. They also won the Northeat division title in 1999/2000.

No-touch does no disprupt the flow at all.They use it in junior hockey and it works fine.

I think this has an impact on whether Stuart re-signs here as well. I'm sure he's going to want to be on a team that uses him in power play situations.

I was browsing on http://www.nhlscap.com/salarynumbers/detroit.htm and noticed something that I had seen before but forgot about. Val is a restricted free agent at the end of this year. Needless to say some team will offer him a contract this offseason if the Wings dont.

No offense but a good deal of hockey people who know more than you and I feel that Filppula is going to be a top 6 forward. Now that doesnt mean he will get an offer sheet,but why risk it? Get him signed now.

Little know fact about this incident is that Kesler got up and stomped Pronger in the face,but his skate went through the gap in his teeth and fell off into his stomach. He s*** it out later.
