Im nothing if I'm not civil.I just wanted to make sure you knew I was D-Mac supporter I would personally like to see the grind line back together and have Downey sit but I have to admit he has played with a lot of energy this year,and hey making predictions and debating is what this is all about.

I love D-Mac and have been cheering for him the whole time. If he is healthy I have no doubt hes a better player than Downey,however I see them as filling the same role which is why I am guessing they dont get in the line up at the same time. If we do indeed need secondary scoring then putting Downey and McCarty in the line up at the same time doesnt help that.

I am an avid soccer fan so yes I did see that. Messi is often compared to Maradona so I guess it makes sense that he would do the same thing. The big difference is that in 07 Argentina didnt win.

There was no risk anyway.He was going to get called up and if he can still play he will. If not it doesnt matter if someone picks him up. -
Exactly,I can name a bunch of refs who make me cringe when I hear theyre doing a Wings game. I actually casually know Gord Dwyer(He went to the same High School I did) and he might be the worst ref in the entire league. He was terrible doing QMJHL games and he hasnt improved.

Ive said it many times.Ive been watching NHL hockey for over 25 years and this is the worst season of officiating that I can remember. Im not sure if any fans,coaches or players have any idea what a penalty is anymore,not to mention the blatent blown calls. The NHL needs to figure this out or they are going to lose more fans than they gain.

Im sure others have noticed but I thought it was worth mentioning that starting on March 15 for nearly three weeks the Wings play only Nashville,St. Louis and Columbus. All three of those teams are trying to squeak in the playoffs.

I do like the fact that we have a chance to basically knock all three teams out.

My expectations are 20 points in 10 games and 2 fights per game including a punch that decapitates Jordin Tootoo. Those arent too high are they?

Another thing most people forget about this game is that it WASNT for the gold medal. After that unbeleivable high those boys had to pull it together and come from behind to beat Finland for gold the next day.

Im not a Lebda hater but hes not THAT young (26). Kronwall is only 1 year older and Stuart is only 2 years older.

I dont think theres anyway Lebda plays over Lilja. You can say what you want about Lilja but hes played better than Lebda this year. Im sure if you look at the stats Lebda leads in giveaways plus hes not nearly as physical and doesnt block shots like Lilja does.
