First of all Zetterberg might not have scored but he set up the winning goal. Second the central is no longer a weak division and third where has Iginla's scoring been for the last 2 weeks? Dont those games mean something too? Bottom line is Zetterberg and Iginla are both great players and if you asked 30 GM's 15 would take Iginla and 15 would take Zetterberg.

Finally a name being thrown around these boards that makes sense, Staios would we a nice fit. Take Hal Gill's name,throw it away and NEVER mention it again.

Two expansions teams would make it happen,but if one eastern team moved west,they would have no choice but to have a team switch conferences. For example Nashville moving to Kansas City.

I dont care if its feasible,but its not stupid. The Wings should be in the eastern conference they are in the Eastern time zone. It may take another West coast team for this to happen though,even then the leaugue would probably be stupid and choose Columbus as the team to move.

Detroit and Atlanta should switch conferences too,but that wont happen either.

Like I said in an earlier post,I dont condone Ruutu's actions but when you point at the opposing teams bench after scoring a goal you gotta expect youre going to piss someone off.

Well I cant say that I know what was going through the minds of the Penguins players that night,maybe Kovalchuck said something about Ruutu's mother...

Not to excuse what Ruutu did but if Kovalchuk didnt spout off to the Penguins bench after scoring a goal,nobody would have taken a run at him.

Lets hope it is only a week. I did seperate my shoulder in a football game and I can vouch for the pain. I was back on the field in 2 weeks, but the doc diagnosed mine as a mild seperation and I was only 15 ,so If Kronner's is mild too I would expect him back in a week or so. If it was more severe he could easily be out a month or more. Personally I would like to see Kindl brought as a replacement just for the fact that we would need a more offensive defenseman in that spot ,but he may not be ready. I am going to defer to the Wings management and assume they know more than a 35 year old dude who cant even remember where his skates are.
