Its hard to argue the stats on Hossa in the playoffs: Hossa (Playoffs)- .77 points per game career Thornton (Playoffs)- .70 points per game career I would have to say if Thornton is a playoff choker than so is Hossa.

If Canada doesnt win gold (And theyre not done yet) Hockey Canada is going to have to think long and hard about sending more of a 'team' to the next Olympics. Canada is loaded with susperstars who are forced to adjust their game and sometimes they just cant do it. These guys are ALL used to playing 20 min + every game, taking key face-offs and playing special teams EVERY time. They just cant do that here. I look at team USA and a guy like Ryan Callahan. He was effective in last nights game because he skated hard and didnt try to get fancy. Canada needs some guys like that. I would love to see guys like Matthew Lombardi, Kris Draper, Brooks Laich or Trent Hunter get a chance for Canada. Stack the first two lines with Superstars and play them like you normally would in an NHL game but then use these hardworking guys to fill in the gaps. The problem is that would take more balls than even Steve Yzerman has because the country would be in outrage. Just a thought on my part.

I hope BAG knows what hes doing because Im cheering for Sweden to medal. I think Enstrom would be much better served on the second or third pairing normally and maybe on the Second PP unit. He may be soft but he sure can pass.

Enstrom on the first pairing? That guy is as soft as a marshmallow! With the forechecking I saw from Canada and the U.S. he wont last a period against them.

Gretzky was as big of a whiner as Crosby and Lemieux was worse. I remember Mario cried when he didnt win the MVP when he lead the league in scoring saying "Well every time Gretzky lead the league in scoring he won the MVP"/ The big difference is obviously media coverage. In Gretzkys early days there was 1 NHL game on per week in Canada, now we have a whole NHL network.

For sure. I would never say Z was a bad skater but hes not fluent like Pav and that "hoppity" stride isnt the fastest way to get from A to B.

I would say Tatar is a better skater Z and about the same as Pav. Z can look very "hoppity" on skates sometimes.

I'm glad some of you guys arent the Wings GM. Johnson for Lebda would be the steal of the century. If you would rather have Lebda you are either drunk or dellusional, possibly both. Plus/Minus is perhaps the most overated stat in all of sports. There are 4 other players on the ice who play a huge role in its outcome. The Kings have sucked every year he has played for them until this half season when theyre above average. Anze Kopitar is -40 in his career so I guess Leino is better than him too.
