I live in Belleville and took my son to all 4 Scrimmage for the Bulls. Johnston looked really good playing with Tipoff and Judson which will more the likely be our top line. We are in a "rebuilding" year this year so Johnston will get more ice time I believe then the last 2 years. My guess is he will either be number 2 or 3 for points on this roster.

Sorry if this was already posted, but this seems like it is updated frequently and has the list off all free agents this summer. Enjoy http://www.geocities.com/floridapanthers2000/free2007.html

Well if the sens are smart he will be with them for a while. He is a Group 2 RFA this year and made $925,000.00 last year, pretty sure he will be resigned for a big bucks this year....

THANK YOU Why is everyone seem to think we need to keep signing older veterans??? We need some younger players, I would like to see some more "youth" on the blue line.... From what I have heard Quincy was Pheneufs partner in Jr and plays the same style, not sure of the truth behind that, but its time for some young players to step up...

I have nothing against sammy either, i am just looking at what holland has to work with trade wise... he isnt going to deal grigs lol no matter what babcock thinks
-
Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Holmstom Franzen - Drury - Grigorenko Bert - Filpulla - Cleary Pyatt- Draper - Kopecky Sammy Lidstrom Markov Souray Lilja Jackman(moves puck well and is physical) Lebda Meech Quincy Howard/Osgoode or Hasek Trade Kronwall to injuy prone, i like the guy but i think he is curesed in Detroit lol and sammy for a big young defence or a goalie who is a bit older but not a acujo who can mentor howard

Guy Lafluer used to smoke a pack or 2 a day lol and isnt he in the hall of fame

Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Holmstom Franzen - Drury - Grigorenko Bert - Filpulla - Cleary Pyatt- Draper - Kopecky Sammy Lidstrom Markov Souray Lilja Jackman Lebda Meech Quincy Howard/Osgoode or Hasek Package Hudler and Kronwall for a big young forward and a goalie not sure if they are any really on the block but meh The only reason i am leaving kronwall off is the fact he seems to be cursed or prone to injury

2 Reasons - First started really watching hockey around 7 or 8 years old, first game I watched was a leafs wings team. I watched Yzerman play and thats all it really took for me. As I grew older it was very easy to watch a team grow and actually put together exciting teams for fans to watch, unlike Toronto who my entire family cheered for, there was no way I would support a team that did not support the fans......

I would prefer not to post what happened, it seems that he has really changed his life around and would not be fair to cleary to start posting all the things that happened

Cleary was drafted by the OHL Team in my hometown - Belleville Ontario (Belleville Bulls). I was actually able to attend the draft as it was held in Belleville that year, actually got a chance to see McCarty that day..anyways back to the story, I was also able to watch Cleary for the 3 years he was with the Bulls, the kid was amazing then, at times saying he was the next phenom - for 2 years he was one if not the best player in the ohl, then his life and career when south. As I knew these guys from talking with them outside of hockey he made some bad choices - I still blame the Bulls org for allowing these things to happen. Several players had a great future and the coach at the time ruined it for him. Myself and my entire family(I the only Wings fan in my family) are very happy to see that he is now turning into the player he was in the OHL...I am not sure who cleary has to thank, but something has changed and he is a very exciting player to watch, FYI Bert and Cleary battled it out a lot in the OHL so I hope that both Bert and Cleary are back next year with the wings. Cleary may have taken a little longer to develop into an NHL star, but like I said we are all happy that he is turning into the skilled player he can be. Go Wings!!!!!

I would like to put more "blame" on the league itself, if they took away the instigator rule, then this probably would have never happened. Moore a player I had ever heard of before this incident takes a run at the captain. No one goes out and deals with it then as they are all scared of an extra 2 minutes or even a suspension. Look at the sabres - sens game - Neil hits Drury, Drury gets hurt - (I forget the name) but another sabre goes and drops the gloves with neil ASAP. Now the Ruff sending the goons out was a bit much, but it was dealt with that game and the next game 2 nights later is calmer then what could have been Bertuzzi is a very skilled hockey player and is only 32, he made one mistake and i think its time everyone drops it and gets over it. I have seen this guy play first hand and man its great to see him in the red and white

after shuting out philly, i think the pens may hold on to fleury...
-
I would be happy to see him added to the wings this year....
-
Curious as to why he would be skating with the wings if he is with montreal.... maybe we are making a deal for him lol riiiiiight

Another one bites the dust

Personally i dont like the guy, might change in a wings uniform, but he would be better then antropov and is actually known to be grittier then carter, let the leafs have carter.. make a deal for tucker, leafs will need cap room, so a 3rd round pick would probably do it, or maybe a couple later picks.. then swing the deal for lang for ryder helps our scoring need with ryder and the grit with tucker....
