Gary Buttman definitely influences the refs, several refs have even come out and stated this in a certain manner of words. He wants to keep things close, grow hockey in other cities, develop the stars he wants, etc.

Ya, but Miller is better and I personally think Buffalo has a better offense and home ice advantage. That said, this thread isn't to criticize, but I feel Philly and LA are more probable upsets. Philly has owned NJ all year and for LA, great all around team that's facing a Canuck team expected to deliver and Luongo has not been good at all since winning Gold for Team Canada.

lol, yes Hossa4life your a little biased. Maybe I'm still pissed at Hossa for doing nothing in Game 7, he should have had the game of his life.

Playoffs is when it counts, and that's when he shines. I'd take him over Hossa in the playoffs and he did more then Hossa last year. I don't care about the regular season if you can't rise in the playoffs. I think the Sharks would rather have Cleary in the playoffs over Joe Thornton as well, lol.

He should be on the bench with the team in my opinion, Ozzie's backup is always on the bench, supporting the team and showing leadership. With all the Rings he has, he should be kicking Bertuzzi's ass on the bench whenever he makes a bad pass and spurring on any other guy who doesn't have a ring.
