Conklin's starting, our odds just improved by 50% Wings win 4-1.

Osgood should be benched forever. His days are done. Unless Conklin gets injured, I'd like to see him start every game moving forward. If management goes with Ozzie in the playoffs, we'll be out first round. It's demoralizing to the team when they work hard for a couple goals and have Osgood unable to close it out for them or even give them a chance from the beginning. Conks might not be the starter for a less then average team, but the Wings don't expect stellar goaltending. Consistent average goaltending is all they expect. Osgood is not giving us that, at all. Goodbye Ozzie, thanks for everything in the past. Your days are done, at least for this year and hopefully we trade you next year.

^ Completely agree with you. Conklin is the better choice, Ozzie deserves to sit on the bench for the remainder of the year. Only if Conks blows in games 1 and 2, does ugly Ozzie make it back between the pipes.

Should we abandon the race for the President's trophy?

We already did by starting Ozzie in the last couple games. We're obviously resting Conklin! I thought everyone knew that! -

No doubt Ozzie has his worst career stats and is yet to look confident in net. Conklin on the other hand has some of the best stats in the league and remains consistent to last year. Hmmm, all the blame can't be on the defense. Even with the Pens last year, Conklin was great. I'm praying Ozzie is not starting in the playoffs and that he blows yet another game today so management can comfortably be able to tell him to sit on the bench and don't move, Conks is our man. Wow, you Osgood lovers don't get the point! If he played half as good as MacDonald, we'd being going into OT right now. 42 Saves. When is the last time Osgood made 40+ saves and stole the game for us?
-
The average goalie steals several games a year for his team. Osgood hasn't done this at all this year. He always needs great offense and defence. He never comes up with big saves when his team needs it. As result, we lose games like this. Osgood needs to sit forever on the bench......In GR
-
Difference is Ozzie couldn't come up with some big saves when his team needed him too.
-
Especially if Ozzie is Net
-
Excellent, bring in Conklin
-
Shoreline, go back to looking at your murial of Ozzy on your bedroom ceiling. Ozzie blows again. Pull him.
-
It's funny how anyone but the Ozzie lovers on here think he isn't looking lost this season, has no confidence, always giving up bad goals and isn't improving. Did you miss the Calgary game, we lost because he allowed three horrible goals. Ozzie was great in the playoffs last year, but he's done, he hasn't shown anything this year even close to that.
-
I can't wait until the Day Ozzie goes away and never comes back. He has no confidence, he might as well skated away on that goal, he looked pathetic.
