As per MLive: Wings forward Marian Hossa left Wednesday's game against San Jose with about 8:50 to play in the second period after a forearm/elbow to the back of the head by Sharks defenseman Douglas Murray. Hossa's helmet flew off and he skated off the ice and right to the training room, where he was being attented to by a team physician. The club announced during the third period that Hossa is out for precautionary reasons and will not return to the game. Get better Hossa!!! Please post the latest updates here. I hope the league reviews this!

Howard! Conklin will get injured by a Pronger cheapshot in the Wings last series meet against the Ducks and Ozzie will continue to not play well leading up to playoffs. Howard will have back to back shutouts in our last two games against the Hawks and earn the start in the first round against the Wild.

I really wanted Chris Neil and I'm not sure why we didn't get him after Murray's comments on TSN, considering he won't be back with Ottawa unless he decides to take less money as they haven't been able to come to terms. Plus Ottawa isn't going to be in the playoffs? "On TSN, Bryan Murray says there was no market for Chris Neil, who will be a U.F.A. in July." Why couldn't we offer a 3rd or 4th rounder for him?
