Hey guys, coming into town for Game 5 and was wondering where we could get the best price, quality and selection for a variety of Wings clothing, merchandise, etc. JLA, Hockeytown, Greektown, maybe a local department store? Other then game 5, planning on visiting the aforementioned places. Thanks, much appreciated.

Anyone been to Sportsmania in Greektown? Any cheaper then Hockeytown cafe with same type of selection?

Enough of this and that, game 5 is tomorrow night and here's some notes from practice today. We need to stay focused, stay out of the box, keep traffic in front of Fleury and score on our PP. June 1, Detroit News: During the early afternoon skate, the Wings were without several players including Tomas Holmstrom, Henrik Zetterberg, Johan Franzen and Pavel Datsyuk. Franzen was spotted at The Joe in street clothes. Again, this was an option skate, so don't read too much into this. It's unclear if Holmstrom will play Monday, but his father, Henrik Holmstrom, came into Detroit from Sweden on Saturday, watched the skate and hopes to see his son on the ice for Game 5. Monday's game will be Henrik's first of this year's playoffs. Update: Tomas Holmstrom said he is "for sure'' in for Game 5 Monday.

Update: Holmstrom Expects to Play for Game 5! YES!!! From Pittsburgh, Jordan Staal has a bruised foot after taking a shot off on a penalty kill on Saturday, but he will play in Game 5.

I believe Royal Oak is a suburb right? Anyways, more interested in finding out about if there is chaos typically outside JLA, Hockeytown on Woodward, Greektown, etc Any specific places? ps. Me and the wife plan on going to Hockeytown on woodward avenue in afternoon and then Greektown for an early dinner, then stopping by Astoria bakery and then heading to game. I also heard they have beer tents, band playing at JLA by waterfront before game??? This true, if so where exactly??? Go Wings Go!!!

Any Canadians know of any good stores on Windsor side of the border with a wide selection of Wings stuff not super super expensive. I looked any no places in Downtown Detroit other then JLA and Hockeytown Cafe from the ones mentioned previously. Unfortunately, don't think we'll have the time to head to Dearborn and some of the other places listed.

Hey guys, thanks for all the great information! I'll be crossing at the border in the afternoon Monday and checking out Hockeytown and heading to Greektown for dinner before game 5. Unfortunately won't have time to explore more of Michigan this trip. There doesn't seem to be a Meijer's in downtown Detroit. Anything in downtown Detroit or close proximity to Greektown area etc of the locations you guys mentioned: Dicks Sporting goods, Khols, Meijer, Dunhams, Walmart, JC Penney, etc Thanks again!

At the same time, there's alot of stuff that the Pens are getting away with. For example, cheap shots, sucker punches, hall gill, gary roberts, etc... That 2nd goal scored by Pens should not have been a PP, example of how they're constant complaining and crying paid off for them and was the turning point in game 3.
