I don't disagree about Coreau last night, but I also don't think it was a bad idea to go with the same lineup coming off the Los Angeles game.  It was the best game we've played in months.

While the LA game was solid offensively and defensively,  Jared wasn't reason why we won.  We outchanced LA by quite a bit and he didn't face a difficult night.

The prior night against Anaheim, Mrazek played his best game of the year but had zero help.  He held game 1-0 until late in the 3rd.

Mrazek should be our #1, none of this Jared starting until he's NHL ready.

That still doesn't justify giving him the #1 job unchallenged.  He needs to earn it.

So Jared lets up a couple soft goals last night and once again proves he's not NHL Ready, just like he showed in Winter Classic.

Mrazek did a great job coming in and had no chance on deflections.  Mrazek is #1 until Jimmy is ready, stop playing Jared.

    • Fire Blashill now, he's gone at the end of the season anyways
    • Let Mrazek know he's our #1 and ride him out, only playing Jared if he's injured
    • Never let Jensen play again, unless everyone else injured
    • Play AA and on a decent line and PP, not 4th line all the time, meanwhile Jurco gets chance to play with Vanek & Nielson

  4. What a ride!!.......Hindsight is 20-20, but I remember thinking that losing 7 of our last 11 regular season games to finish 1 point behind SJ for the 2 seed might come back to bite us in the arse.........maybe it did..............game 7 at the Joe would have been a trip.

    Absolutely!!! GO WINGS GO!!!

I agree with above comments, I was huge on this in the stretch and everyone else on the board was like it's not a big deal finishing second.....

  5. If Game 7 needed it would be back to back nights!!!! Otherwise I love the schedule.

  6. Pretty hard to call a major boarding penalty on a hit where the victim wasn't facing the glass.

Dang, Miller is lights out tonight.

Lucic just got kicked out of Bruins game 5 and a major for a similar type of hit that in my opinion wasn't as bad.
