Agree. Really just relax, we had plenty of chances to make up that goal and couldn't close the deal. Try to act like most of you have either watched the post season before or won't die because we lost this game. Some of the things being said in this thread are just over the top. I did see it on TV. Although they never showed the guy pick it up. Let's just be happy the Wings can finish this one at home.

I've been saying this since I joined the site, being biased towards netminders aside. WHY CAN'T WE KEEP THE SAME GOALIE AND JUST FACE THE FACTS, THERE WILL BE UPS AND DOWNS!!! For the love of god, whe should have kept OZZIE years ago. This whole OZZIE/CUJO/HASEK/LEGACE/BLAH BLAH BLAH crap is for the birds. We should have never gotten rid of Ozzie and concentrated on other areas. Holy crap to think we could have stuck with a goalie all this time just blows my mind. Red Wings management makes many many many good decisions, don't get me wrong, but musical netminders and throwing cash at all the goalies over the years has just proven we lost out big time over the years and could have avoided all this drama by sticking with OUR GUY. Pretty obvious Ozzy has a proven track record and the skills to stand the test of time. That's my two cents, what do you think?!?!? P.S. Cujo + our current offense=CUP...jus sayin...

Nail meet head... These guys make a thousand "PREDICTIONS" a year and act like Miss Cleo when one of them comes true. What's hilarious is the fact some moron pitched this "33 year" thing in a meeting at some point and now ESPN has decided to focus on it. Sucks for us because both clubs are up 3-0 now so we will have to hear it for at least another few days.

Well I started saying this back in 2003 but with Ozzie back NOW and doing so well NOW it seemed like the time to point out maybe we should have kept him. Seeing as how we don't hold the same revolving door standard for our other players...So now we are just supposed to capture lightning in the bottle and trade goalies every year because we have a feeling there is a shelf life on how well they will do in the season??? Hell why aren't we doing it with everyone??? yeahhhhhhhhh....

WORST instance?!?!? I'm sure the Wings offense would have stepped up in all those 0-1 point games had it not been for Cujo standing in their way...then he was run out of town... WORST instance??? I think the only bad thread to all this is the fact we turn our back on our netminders so fast and never stick with the same guy. Should we have shipped Dats off when he wasn't firing on all cylinders in the post season??? Because he would magically become better playing before another team then we could ****** him up at the perfect time because we have such vast insight into all of that FUTURE information and all...

One thing doesn't REALLY have anything to do with the other. I don't think Babcock is going to let them lose focus easily. I also don't think we are going to win game 4. WE really need to beat Dallas one more time in front of the home crowd...for those who have tickets and all...

This kind of proves Ozzies move wasn't a complete ACCIDENT. I think Ozzie did juke right a bit, just wasn't thinking about the end of his stick. Turco is a complete azz. After slashing at people and hitting homer in the back of the head the whole game he comes off like this?!?! Pretty much damage control by the Stars, plain and simple. I don't think Ribeiro should be suspended, let him get his azz kicked in game 3. Ozzie did sell the hell out of it, Drapes put his melon in the ice right away. Hell this series finally got interesting... "IT'S ON!!"

EXACTLY. For the first time in a long time I looked at the way the Wings were attacking Nashville in game one and thought "DAMN...we look GOOD!" Then I watched games 3 & 4 in that series and thought "where did that other Wings team go?!?!" I think even THINKING about a sweep is a waste of time. Just worry about winning the next game and then the series.

Anyone know if there is video posted from the Red Wings Weekly clip with Dats playing keep away from Trevor?? I almost pissed myself I was laughing so hard. I'd love to have a copy saved.

If you poke around Ebay for a bit and get in touch with some of the sellers you can get lucky and find someone who will burn a copy of the DVD for you. I'll keep my eyes open and let you know if I talk to someone.
