I know the source isnt that good , but what are everyones thoughts on this ??http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=4182 I also read on spectors trade rumors that sergei might be available at the trade deadline ....... anyone care to comment ??? i for one would love to see # 91 back on the wings !!! maybe this is the deal kenny has been waiting for ???

i just dont know who will be available come the deadline...all the tough wingers i dont see moving anywhere...Kenny should have picked up Andre Roy when he had the chance.....Any chances of Vinny leaving the lightning..i think he is a center , but the guy does drop the gloves!!!! Maybe Kenny will go after Marty from the hawks ???maybe hell go after Doan ???? Only one person knows what he is waiting for , and that is him ..Ive be a supporter of Kenny as well, and i too thought getting Cross was a good thing , but I think Babs didnt like him , so thats why he is gone ......JUst give us a tough winger that can score and scrap thats all we ask for !!!!!!!!!!

gord i agree with you 100% that Feds is not what this team needs !!! If the price was right , like say around 750,000 for him to come back ..like the Hasek deal , then take it . As far as him asking and getting what he is , i think it is rediculous.(spelling?) he has not shown any form of his red wings days since he left .. I think that has a lot to do with what teams he has been on ..He is a great fit in Columbus ...I just think maybe if the wings could get the type of player they need , and then if they had a chance to get Sergei back at a good price then do it ...He will not hurt this team come playoff time that i can say is true . Yes this team needs to step up and get someone that plays like the McCarty or Lapointe of the late 90's... That is the typre of player i want to have on this team , but i dont think there is anyone out there like that ...unless Marty is available , i think he will be ......that is the kind of toughness this team needs , i havent heard much about him lately , but if he still plays with the same heart he did back in the 90's , then i think he could be an excellent addition !!!! I know its another name from the past , but like i said before there is not much out there ... I dont think Doan is going to ever leave the yotes .. He is about the only player out there that comes to mind to fit this team well...... Anyways im done with this subject , i think ..i just wanted to have my voice heard ....... In a perfect world we could have the 97 , 98 cup winning teams back on the ice again , and kicking ass again , but that will never happen , so lets just give our team a big hell yeah , and hope for the best this year !!! I wonder what Kenny is going to do about the problem ...............?????

Wow i started this post to get reactions , and boy i sure did . I didnt expect it to be a war with words though. I for one would love to see Feds back !! There were a lot of good points for him not to come back , as he truely isnt what this team needs right now!! He does always show up in the playoffs , and isnt that what we have all been saying this team needs?? Last time i checked the wings were bounced out of the playoffs every year since Feds decided to take a walk ... I dont blame him for leaving the wings , he wanted to be number one , and with Yzerman still here he couldnt be ......Now that Steve is gone , he is STILL the man as far as im concerned , and will always be the MAN....I really dont think using profanity here to get your point across is the answer.. Everyone on here is entitled to have his/her own opinion (right) ? We can all wish for what we want for the team , its not like it will ever happen( we have Kenny to thank for that) so let us have our glory and dream of the team we once knew to be great !!!!!!!they still are , but some would say no until they win it all again and again !!!! I have been a Wings fan for over 20 years now , and will always be , no matter who is on the ice ...This is one of the greatest sports organizations ever .....So please let us have our fun here and wish for players from the past to come back and retire for the greatest sports team ever ... you can bash all you want , but give us a break , we are all on the same team here

ok so what about nagy? ive seen him play a few times back in az , he has a wicked shot and puts the puck in the net ..i think he just doesnt like playing for gretzky .
