OK here is what they have to do: A.) Be patent, play our game at the start. B.) Wear down R. Niedermier (sp?) hit him, make him skate, and take long shifts C.) Make Ric Jackman look stupid, Zetterberg, Flip, and Dats need to take him 1v1 and turn him inside out. With these 3 things along with the usual shut down D we are good to go. Repeat!!! 4-0 - Zetterberg, Flip, Bert, Lidstrom (in that order) EDIT: Im too excited to form coherent sentences -

I agree with the article, but its too bad that the team couldn't just realize that Shanny wasn't going to contribute as much and step up with him on the team. That way we could have had our cake and eat it too. -
What damage did fisher do when he cross checked that guy in the mouth(I don't remember)? He got a game for that right?

I believe the announcer on Vs. said that Hasek was "pitchforked" into the net at one point.

I am convinced that the puck was going in, which means its a new game 1-1. That could very easily have been the turning point in the series. We have all seen soft goals change the way the series is going, and Hasek would have been the goat. In the end we both agree for whatever reason Lidstrom is the ONLY choice for Con Smythe

playing 1/2 the game and saving the entire team's butt every time the opposition is coming down the ice, its lidstrom. Not to mention he should get it just on the merits of saving that goal, Hasek, and the season in game 6 a couple nights ago.

Sorry if I am repeating someone else's point, but did anyone else see the extreme poor officiating in game 3? It seemed to me like SJ was getting away witn alot of stuff.
