Is it just me, or is it that whenever something I want to hear about with the NHL happens.. something else just happened in another sport? As in the NBA trade deadline. Thanks to that, I never get to hear about what I want. When the Wings won the cup, it was Barry Bonds. It happens every time. I should live in Canada.

I'm sure something better will come along in awhile, but here's this for now.

Out of curiosity, is this game actually in HD on FSN? FSNHD shows no listing for it, and the schedule on the official site doesn't show it being in HD.

Voting concluded at midnight. Yzerman has been voted the greatest captain.

We defeated Dallas in the playoffs, in six games. I'd guess it was to get under the players and fans skin a bit.

5 - 2 Wings Hossa returns the Hat Trick from last year.

Goal: Leino from Helm and Haydar.

Apparently it's actually working directly from 971theticket.com - hopefully it doesn't black out in three minutes. Edit: Thank you.

The online link is not AM or FM. It's just the standard online feed. FM has the Tigers right now, AM has the Wings, online has talk. If you can't tune into 1270 via an actual radio, then you're likely stuck with the Canadiens online feed. Unless someone wants to make a feed for 1270.

I was really looking forward to watching the opener in HD (I have yet to watch HD hockey, and only have FSN-HD), so this kinda stinks - but at least I'm not in the boat of no VS at all. Also, if I'm not mistaken, they skipped player introductions and whatnot last year for the opener - hopefully that's not the case this time around. Thanks for the update.

My personal favorite is the radio guy, Dave Mishkin for TB; if only for the humor of it. Mishkin Memories

GOD BLESS HOCKY I will laugh, uncontrollably, for years.

How did I miss this thread? Anyway, thank you Quicksilver for the heads up and the link. It is very much appreciated.

Someone recently posted about www.nhltorrents.co.uk, which is where I got a copy - if you're talking about OTF-Final following game 6. Though they do have just about all of them, if not all of them. I'm still looking for the WXYT radio broadcast of game 6 if anyone can help out.

Does anyone know where I can get a full length copy of the WXYT (radio) broadcast for this game? I've been hunting for it all day, but no luck.

It's since been fixed. Here's a screenshot, however, for anyone that missed it.

I'd have to say the Minnesota Wild. Minn is sort of a second home to me. Especially, now, since they're coming into thier own, I've been loving them more and more. I feel like tossing out that I'm an Ottawa fan aswell. I'm looking forward to hopefully a Detroit/Ottawa SCF in the future.

Ken Daniels was correct. I recall reading this somewhere else earlier aswell. (tsn?) "There may be a maximum of 23 players on each Club's playing roster at any one time from the commencement of the NHL regular season through the trade deadline." http://www.nhl.com/nhlhq/hockey_ops.html
