ok, enough with the "lazy and he sucks" threads people. this was a joke to begin with but has since become an annoyance, and one not even worth the time people have spent on it. the next person to post _____ is lazy and he sucks had better damn well be a much better hockey player themselves or shut the hell up. my apologies to people who've been around awhile and know me to be an amiable LGW contributor, i just can't get past how juvenile and downright ignorant some people are. this is not baiting anyone particular so do not read into this post as in invitation to start a flame war. i'm just being boldly honest and some people need to take notice. the rest of you can simply disregard this and carry on with your day.

filppula was a fun one to watch in grand rapids. i'm hoping he receives even more shifts going forward. cleary was also amazing during his time here, a real pleasure to see that he's doing so well under pressure.

don't bet on his return. the last thing we need is to put him out there less than 100%.

nick's fine, his mediocre play (rarely happens) is far better than others who step it up a notch. he is by no means a liability. i agree that he's likely being coached to a different approach than perhaps what bowman or lewis would have instilled in him, however his poke check and overall stick handling abilities make up for what he's not being asked to do elsewhere.

this is by far the one factor that will make/break this series, period.

goals are obviously critical but an entire series can be won by scoring one goal per game. i wouldn't read into this at all because that's the difference between hockey and a lot of other professional sports... one move outside of your favor and to the advantage of your opponent can often lead to your demise.

tough break for the hometeam. a lot of questions will be addressed in the offseason. it's tough to feel good after an early exit but the griffins should not hang their heads too low. they met a solid team and it was a fight to the end. congratulations to the griffins on another playoff run, hopefully next time will bring home the hardware.

we're talking about one bad game, period. that's hardly grounds for an entire thread but if you absolutely must, carry on... just seems petty to me.

bottom line, hasek = scapegoat for fans who just want somebody to blame. these are close games and style points don't make a bit of difference. if he falls flat on his face to save a puck, i could honestly care less. the team played well for the most part, just missed some chances. game 4 will likely be just as close, which is why this series was destined for seven games from the start. here's to returning to the joe at 2-2, making this a three game series and a nail-biter at that.

with all these action cues, i'd think i was in stratford on avon watching shakespeare in the round.

i'm for keeping them in the west.
