i've heard this kid's name a lot but does anyone know how he did in TC? he'll likely be at griff's icehouse next week and i can see for myself but i was curious to see how he skated with the big boys.

i admit to my bias here... fact is i'm tired of seeing the miller boys parade their pathetic MSU pride around local rinks... i don't have any legitimate reason to not be impressed by kip, i'm just not. i'd rather get excited about hamilton and hussey... that's all.

miller's nothing special but i couldn't be more thrilled to see hamilton skating with grand rapids. hamilton is an immediate asset to this club.

maybe i should have clarified, i know WHY he's here but i was just curious how people would feel with him as a red wing. you're right, this isn't his first time in DRW camp, and probably not the last. personally, i just love seeing him skating with the wings. i remember his play with the old vipers franchise and he was a treat to watch.

i know, i know... he plays for a different club but it sure does look great to see him skating with our boys in traverse city... would anyone besides me be completely ecstatic if samsonov ended up joining detroit? i placed this in rumor mill because there obviously are no reports of a trade, yet i just love watching samsonov in a wings jersey... it's quite nice actually.

passing up on gionta if we actually have a legitimate shot at adding him to the roster, well that would be like pulling a ken holland. doh! here's hoping holland doesn't replicate his recent track record. gionta reminds me a lot of verbeek... a great player to have on your club, regardless of size... he demands more of his teammates as well... and we definitely need more of that.

hopefully you mean vicariously... but yeah, played a demo version at electronics boutique and was very unimpressed... although i don't feel EA's released a great hockey game in all facets of the gameplay experience since NHL '94... i could have also been playing a different version than the official release, not sure. i'm also curious to know what others feel... no chance i'm ponying up the $50 unless this title gets unanimous favor throughout LGW.

why? he's made the trip a number of times before. not sure what AHL club would sign him, unless it's a backup role. he's likely to find more ice time elsewhere.

bravo! i wouldn't make one change to this post. i've also said that i wouldn't miss drew or joey so i would be fine with mac finding a new outlet to showcase his abilities, for whatever they may still be worth.
