And Smyth could very well be traded if him and the oilers dont agree on a lond term deal, which he said himself. Rolston would be a stretch, but there have been a few rumors with his name in them and he is from Michigan. Get your hit str8 guy!!

Roenick Blows...What the hell is he gonna do for the wings, with his 19 points in 50 something games on the damn coyotes. He sucks and I wouldn't trade and old goalie trapper for him, I went to the game a couple weeks ago vs. coyotes and he sucks, all he did was injure Markov with a cheap hit, J.R. IS USELESS HERE!!!!

Well it really depends on who he is going to acquire and for how long they plan on keeping him, Holland knows what he is doing and nobody knows that the wings need a power scoring forward more than the people within the organization. We'll just have to wait and see, my personal hopfuls to rock the wing wheel here soon are Bill Guerin, Keith Tkachuk, Ryan Smyth, Brian Rolston, or possibly an unrestricted free agent in Jason Allison.

So your saying that Williams and Kopecky cancel each other out, have you watched a Wings game before???? Kopecky has 1 point in 20 something games, no Williams isn't scoring like he was last year but is a hell of a lot more valuable than a rookie who has been injured all year. WAKE UP BEFORE YOU SPEAK! Laraque is the worst hockey player I've seen in my life and would burn all wing apparel if that piece of garbage ever puts on a wing wheel, that would never happen so I don't know why Im getting worked up. The Wings know better than considering a piece of trash like him anyways.

He is absolutely not worth even 750,000....with a plus/minus in the negatives ON THE RED WINGS and about 5 points all year how do you figure. He going to be gone (hopefully) so they can get Filppula or Kopecky some experience and develop. Im not a Maltby hater, he simply has done nothing this season and needs to go.

Yeah he's definately not going anywhere but he has tremendous potential, just give him some time and he will be fine. And the offensive skill is there, since you haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't there buddy, he just needs some time to develop. He no Lidstrom but his influence will definately help his growth. No trade because he will develop into a great D and nobody will give him 3 mil a year...not yet at least.
