    TSN/Ducks Fans Biased

Not sure I understand the question. You mean did Scott Niedermayer's hook play a part in Holmstrom hitting Wisniewski in the face? If so - possibly. I do believe that Holmstrom was trying to spin away from Niedermayer when he hit Wisniewski in the face.

    TSN/Ducks Fans Biased

I've seen the Ducks more than probably anyone else on this board as I have covered them as a member of the media for the past three seasons. I know they are a very physical team who have done a lot of dirty things over the years. However, that does not mean that they cannot be the victim of a dirty hit as well. A thief can still be robbed and a dirty team can still be victimized by a cheap shot. I'm not saying what Holmstrom did was a cheap shot or dirty, necessarily, just saying that the Ducks being a dirty team is not a factor in deciding whether or not this was a dirty play by Holmstrom. The point of that line in my post was this: since many of you believe the Ducks to be a dirty team it should be very interesting to see what they do to Holmstrom tonight. I'm not saying whether they are dirty or not, not saying whether Holmstrom deserves any retaliation or not, just saying that the Ducks clearly feel that it was a blatant elbow to the face of an injured player and I'm curious to see how they respond tonight.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that Holmstrom elbowing Wisniewski in the face is what caused Wisniewski's injury nor what sent him to the hospital. If they are, they are wrong but please post a link to such allegations for all of us to see. Holmstrom said he knew two guys were on him and yet says he didn't know Wisniewski was there. It's gotta be one or the other. I have to assume that he knew a Ducks player was there but did not know that it was Wisniewski nor that he was seriously hurt. The Ducks are not happy, obviously, and Wisniewski has called Holmstrom "gutless" and "dirty" and described the elbowing as "blatant". It should be very interesting to see how Holmstrom is treated tonight and throughout the rest of this series, especially if the Ducks are as dirty of a team as many of you claim. Ducks Fans...

All teams have good fans, all teams have bad fans. Alcohol, as was pointed out earlier, is to blame in 99% of all fan related fights and I'm sure was a factor in the deplorable behavior of the Ducks fans that got out of line and committed criminal acts last night. To anyone that had a bad experience at the Ducks game last night I'm very sorry to hear that. Nobody should ever feel threatened or scared simply because of what team they root for, and physical violence is unacceptable. I will pass along this information to the Ducks and urge them to increase parking lot security after the game for tomorrow night and Game Six (if necessary). I would also urge you to report ALL incidents to the Arena security and/or the police immediately in order to get a record of the attacks and in hopes of catching the offending people.

    Hasek stiffed by league

As a fan of hockey I want to see the best players in the All-Star game. Therefore, it blows my mind that Dominik Hasek is not an All-Star. In the new NHL, where scoring is up and defense is endagered, Hasek has a GAA under 2.00. That is incredible. He has more wins, a better GAA and a better save % thank Marty Turco. So why, exactly, is Turco an All-Star while Hasek is not? We discuss this topic at length in our most recent show, and I know it's all a bunch of icing and isn't truly important, but why have an All-Star game if a guy with those numbers is not invited to play?
