Yes but Leino is currently relied upon more than he is ready for. I hope he gets a lucky goal to take some weight off his shoulders and restore some confidence. Bottom line is, the best players need to be the best players and hardest workers and the rest of the team will follow. Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Rafalski etc. need to show on a daily basis why they get the big bucks. I think it's warranted to expect more from these guys based on what we've seen in the last few years. Someone like Leino can't win games by himself but some of these other guys can and they have to step up.

It would be huge having him back for the CBS games. With four games remaining this month, three of them at home, there's still a chance for the Wings to end up 9-4-1 for the month. That would be pretty damn good.

I know, it was just a guess. I was counting on him remembering the timing wrong. A month ago it was a very different story with the defense, luckily they have worked it out.

That would require 32 wins out of the remaining 48 games. 32-16 record to close out the regular season is far from an impossible feat but would require for this team to shake the injury bug and get on a serious roll.
