Nope, '98 is the only time they got through. They may have been close some other year though.

Looking at your username, I'm not surprised. I think HJK is the only Finnish team to ever make it to the Champions League (in '98 I think). It was a huge deal back then.

Not bad dude! I mostly go to VPS (Vaasan Palloseura) games since it's the closest major league team. Btw, that's where Jussi Jääskeläinen played before bolting to Bolton.

I don't even have favorite teams here so I mostly "root" for teams that are from around where I live. I bet you can't even name Finnish soccer or hockey teams off the top of your head.

Oh that too. Yeah I follow local teams but it's nothing as passionate. It's on a way different scale.

And Galaxy's exhibition game against Chelsea, even though he had an injury they put him in for 12 minutes because everyone wanted to see him play in such a big game. We'll see, he was playing very well for Real Madrid in the spring and made it back to the national team as well.

Should be a good one, the best possible matchup to kick off the season. I can only imagine...
