Thank you Shark fans, it was a hell of a series and I was nervous right up until the last buzzer. It was good, hard-fought hockey without the cheap-shotting element unlike the CGY series. You've got a great team and a lot to look forward to. Keep coming back here and offering your insight on hockey.

Of course I'll be disappointed if they don't go all the way, but at least we don't have to worry about all the "early exit" crap anymore. I just hope they'll put up a good fight, try their hardest and see how far it takes them. That's all I ask of them.

Pavel has been great and it was only a matter of time when he would get it going in the playoffs. Last night I hoped he'd have made the score 3-0 on a couple of occasions to lessen the nerve-racking but anyway, he had another strong game. Go Dats, keep it up!

Geez... last night (morning, really) after the game I had the most vivid dream that I was Lidstrom, out on the ice in the waning seconds of the game, stoning Kyle McLaren (has to be that cool visor ) on a 1-on-1 and clearing the puck with my left hand. Then the celebrations began and it felt like we'd just won the Cup! I'm so happy and proud of the team right now, thank you Wings and keep it going! Last time we got this far was 2002 and that was a pretty good year, hopefully the resemblance keeps up!

Well said. I'm not overly worried even though Schneids is out, we won the last game basically without him anyway and there's always someone who'll step up and fill the void. This team is really showing guts, heart and determination and that will take them a long way, no matter who's playing.

I think too that he's somewhat playing through it. Gotta just hope and believe the coaching staff are playing the cards right on this one.

I'm basically never asleep at midnight, probably has something to do with my Wings obsession and hanging around LGW so late... Yeah, I guess we don't qualify for the Late Night Crew over here since it's closer to morning at gametime (especially these west coast games, home games are fairly easy to handle )!
