Damn straight, floating into the playoffs is a big no-no. They should start playing their hearts out during these final games and not just expect to be able to switch it on when playoffs begin.

Didn't see the game live since I was only 13 at the time and there weren't a lot of NHL games available for me. I just watched all the highlights afterwards and it was INTENSE. It was great to see the retribution on Lemieux. Luckily I was at least able to watch the finals against Philly!

Thanks for all the interesting info Aussie, you're a statistical guru! Yeah, I try not to screw up my average and at least compete for victory in that category. Congrats to the winners, 17 is a terrific score! Things getting close and interesting at the top, sort of like the Western Conference!

Lang and Maltby should certainly be gone. Maybe Schneider too, he's valuable on the PP but defensively not very good and might cost too much for what he brings. I don't know if Hasek should be gone but he probably will.

Good to hear Lebs is just fine and nothing more serious happened. Nieminen might play like an ******* sometimes but it was a class act by him to go over and apologize. That's the kind of sportsmanship I'd like to see more often.

Their defense might not be as good but think about this: being 9-0-1 in his last ten games behind a supposedly lousy defense makes Budaj even more of a game-stealer, don't you think?

I'd give Flip a chance, I'm slowly but surely starting to hate Lang since he keeps testing my patience. No matter if he's had some more points in the last ten games, he's still so goddamn lazy.
