That's how it probably is, just trying not to discriminate those poor little defensemen on the basis of scoring. Being that all of AO, Sid and Malkin are exceptional players, not much chance for others to get the same kind of credit.

Wow, we may have gotten screwed by refs a few times lately but not like this.

The management certainly has high hopes for Kronwall judging by that contract alone, I can just hope that his deal turns out to be a good one for the Wings! And Lebda has been stellar, especially for a guy basically coming out of nowhere. Boy can he skate. Both of them will only get better and hopefully stay with this team for the long term.

Yay! I can't wait to see Bert out there, hope he fits in soon. How about him beating Feds on a one-on-one and scoring? Wingslogo, I have a strong 4-1 feeling today. What do ya think? EDIT: I forgot, finally we have the shorter injury list!

I'll be amazed if someone other than Malkin takes the cake, although Stastny has emerged as a dark horse thanks to his hot points streak. What about defensemen, are there any legit contenders? Matt Carle?

Thanks mate! That ratio better balance out over the next five games or the refs can go to hell for all I care. I figured the numbers would be something like that (in terms of for/against ratio). That's one reason why they play a long season, the effect of lopsidedly called games is eliminated. Once in a while you have to suck it up but in the end it goes both ways.

Make no mistake, I wish he exceeds my expectations too. I think he should permanently play on either of our top two lines next season. He's still very young so who knows how he'll turn out, his development has been very encouraging so far. Just trying to be realistic and avoid disappointment. -
IMO, the number of Cups should be somewhat irrelevant since it's a team accomplishment. As for the personal trophies, you decide which ones are the most valuable. Dom has more trophies but Waaaah has those Conn Smythes.

I hate to blame anything on the refs but that 41/24 ratio seems way too unbalanced. Having said that, those figures tend to even out in the long run.

Probably not, he's more of a playmaking type but I can certainly see him scoring 20-30 goals and adding 40-50 assists with capable wingers. -
