Very possible. I think Wings will only be signing a starter if anyone and Backstrom in my mind doesn't qualify as a starter in Detroit. Knowing the pressure that is placed upon Wings' keepers, it would be better for us and Backstrom himself if he just stayed in Minny and got more experience there. -
Please let this be true. Back injuries can be such a pain in the ass and it's hard to know how much time they take to heal.

Because play had already continued after the next stoppage and the play wasn't reviewed during that stoppage. In the Wings' case, the review was initiated right after the first whistle, which wasn't the case here.

If the Wings signed Backstrom, he would only be a backup. Liv can do that job just as well. -

With our full lineup, in the playoffs we would beat the hell out of these Flames since they would have a home-cooking disadvantage. They can't win on the road and at neither at home unless the refereeing is like this.

You do know Huds is one of the more skilled players on the Wings? I only referred to that. But I agree that Kolanos probably would have been a better player because he's more versatile and has size.
