Do you always predict a 4-1 score?
-
Wasn't he among the last cuts at the training camp? Then for whatever reason (motivation?) things didn't work out in GR. I wouldn't be so sure he's got more talent than Huds but he's way bigger.
-
Happy birthday to the country/age colleague! Keep up the good work!
-
Yeah, they have done it but I'd like to see those things in the future as well.
-
I would love to see Lillypads score and Lang hustle.
-
And Calder!
-
Can't really go wrong with that kind of deal.
-
That's pretty much equal to Gandhi beating up his kids.
-
Calder has been a revelation here. I always thought of him as a good player, I still can't believe how Kenny pulled Willy for him straight up. He plays a gutsy game that we need in the playoffs. I hope we re-sign him, obviously for less than his current $2.95 million but something around $1.5-2 million. Langer still looks lazy but at least he hasn't sucked quite as much recently!
-
Clever!
-
Definitely! Half-hearted hits but still great. Nick is such a pleasurable guy. That, and also the guy knocking the net off after he scores.
-
To me his facial impression screams "I don't give a sh*t".
-
Yes, that's not what I meant. I just hinted that Lang has quite a few ugly turnovers to his name too. And of course there's the ever present lazyass play. He has not been a $3.9 million player but playoff redemption is always possible.
-
Wonder why... Hopefully our guys bounce back and come out strong.
-
Surely not more than Lang?
-
That goal was sheer brilliance.
-
Too many disappointments among the Wings to have any effort left to criticise anyone else.
-
Sounds like a good deal, he should be well worth that.
-
Does he really want to stay in Philly? If so, then we can probably forget about him as well. Yeah Backstrom is good but he's a rookie at the age of 29. He would be a risky choice and I think the interest in contract extension is mutual in Minny.
-
Not too impressive, I must admit. Biron might deserve consideration but as for the others, no way. EDIT: Oh and Giguere is alright as well.
-
I'd have to pick Kronwall as well. I think next season is make or break time for him. Lang has also been way too awful for his salary.
-
Agreed, Mario has to be the best when it comes to pure offensive talent. Stevie has a lot of other things to his credit, many of them statistically immeasurable.
-
He has another $6 million backup duty to attend to next season.
-
To me it's not even possible to overrate these gentlemen, they epitomize everything that is good about this sport. They've got the traits that everyone should look up to. Stevie was not only a great scorer, but also a great defensive player and probably the most responsible team leader ever. Not to mention all the sacrifices he made, he would play through almost anything. And Nick is quite simply the definition of reliable, he is rock solid year after year after year. I don't know how he does it, he's unbelievable.
