Well, at least some people here are scared to death of the Flames come playoff time so I was just hoping that they would help our case by beating the Preds. One must have some faith. Oh well.

I can't wait to see Kindl in Detroit, he seems like a very promising kid and was already close to making the team this season out of training camp. I'd like Kenny to re-sign Markov and knowing Cheli, he will probably be back as well. Schneider I'm not so sure about. Too bad we have Lilja signed for another season, there's really no use for him with Quincey and Ericsson also knocking on the door.

Gotta win tonight to keep up with Preds, they beat Flames 6-3 last night. No prediction, but hopefully Dats and his new eurotwin have another strong outing.

I can't help but admire your faith in him. Those injury reports look sad for both teams but that should make this an intriguing matchup, lots of guys willing to prove themselves. Go Griffins!

I don't think anyone would bash him because of his personality, he just hasn't performed up to par on the ice lately. Those two aspects should always be kept separate. Lilja is probably a nice guy even though he isn't much of a player.

Fair enough, this is a typically likeable post from you. But, even if you hadn't sold the farm Nashville gave up quite a bit more than Detroit. It remains to be seen who gets the best return on their investment.

They weren't very discrete about Tjarnqvist's injury though, was it "inflammated pubic bone" or something...

At least our GM was smart enough not to sell the farm like you did for Floppa, who doesn't scare anyone in his current condition. Even if Bert is a total bust, we lost basically nothing in the deal. And if you call Bert a criminal, you're just bitter because when he gets into shape again, he's gonna lay out a few of your "tough guys" pretty nicely.

...and future husband. I like pretty much everyone on the team equally, except that it has been difficult to like Lang lately (and Lilja always).

Good thinking. Here in Finland we aren't even allowed to go to the seats until play is stopped. And of course, if you're a bit late, they always play like five minutes without a stoppage and make you stand and wait for a permission to take your seat.

Btw, didn't Rex stay at Langer's place for some time? He must've blended in nicely with the kids.
