Yeah it's tough but maybe the trade wasn't a big surprise for him, this season just wasn't going his way at all. I think a fresh start is just what he needs and hopefully he can get things rolling again.

Seriously, you have to be a moron to think this was a bad trade. Calder is a better player any day of the week, and he should also be rejuvenated coming here from those bottom-feeders. And the contract aspect on top of that. -

Maybe he can pull a "Cleary" with us. This season in Philly has been poor (wonder why...) but he put up career highs in goals (26) and points (59) last season. -

I seriously doubt that we'd send out two roster players. I think it's more a matter of the new player not being able to make it in time for our next game, thus the extra player.

Good for Lebda. He kinda came here out of left field but he's taken the opportunity and run with it. He has all but cemented his place as a Wings' core player for the future.

Yep, the climax is almost there, we just need to stretch our patience for another while. There's no point in worrying about Eklund, he'll give you a rumor and shoot it down the next day. That can get pretty frustrating. -

He'll go back and forth all the time until something actually happens. Guerin is just one of the players Eklund has been sending to 5+ teams for quite a while now. -

Good read! The article went on forever but it was all worth reading. Dom is such an extraordinary character that you just gotta love him. What a competitor, never accepting second best and always pushing himself to the limit. There's something for every player to look up to. With Dom, I feel so much better going into the playoffs than last year, no matter what the trade deadline brings.
