His timing was great but he got a little over-excited there. Open-ice hitting is one of his strengths (probably the biggest strength) and something that should intimidate our opponents a little bit. He just needs to keep the hits clean.

Indeed gentlemen. Only now did I notice that Rask was traded away by the Leafs. So their goaltending future seems quite solid (and Finnish ), Joey is just supposed to be an insurance goalie for some time.

But isn't it pretty much the same situation in Boston since they already have Thomas and Toivonen? I guess they don't have anyone better than Joey beyond those two. EDIT: Sauve seems to be their man too nowadays.

I think Dom would win by throwing his stick as usual. Or by taking them down while sliding towards the blue line.

Just stating the obvious here, but a win tonight would be HUGE. Especially since we weren't able to beat the Oilers. The odds aren't so great but it would be great to see our boys rise to the occasion.

Williams' production is way down compared to last season but Lang has a whopping three more goals and ten more points than Willy (and is tied with Cleary in points). P.S. Lilja is only a -1 with four assists!

Precisely, patience truly is a virtue here. I'd be stunned if nothing happened. It's only natural for the sellers to test the market because they are in control, for now.

Has to be one of the sellers (as in lowering the prices). One would think that they want to get at least some return for their impending UFAs.

If not for his slow start to the season, Z would have been among the candidates. He has been truly amazing lately, interesting to see for how long he can keep it up. Selke is far more attainable at this point.
