I've got some bad post game loss jitters. Not doubt, just nervousness. I'll be fine after Wednesday's win by the Wings!!!! GOOOOOOOO WINGS!!!!

I'll be doing double time tonight... Going to the Tiger's game ( ) and keeping up with the Wings. LET"S GO WINGS!

I missed last night's game, but from what I've heard it wasn't much. So here's hoping for a worthwhile game! GO WINGS!

About this time last year there was a charity softball game between the Wings and the Tigers alumni at Comerica Park. I haven't heard anything about it this year, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything. I've heard about the one in Royal Oak against their firefighters next Sunday, but that's not the one I'm thinking of. I'm kinda disappoined because it was lots of fun last year.

good food, good atmosphere, and fun memorabilia to look at. Worth a trip or two.

Ha, I would definately name my dog after one of the players if she were a he. I remember when games were on UPN. Last summer while I was trying to fill my hockey fix, I was watching a game from October 1997, just a few games into the season.They were talking about what they would have to do to win the Cup again in the future. It was funny to watch, when after that season, they won the Cup again. Plus... I've got a few new You might be a Detroit Red Wings fan if... -you know where you were at 12 p.m. on Monday July 3, 2006. -you remember phone numbers, locker combos, etc. by using players numbers. Last year I had a locker with the number 19 in it. Trust me, I never forgot how to open my locker! -you pray that your future husband is a Red Wings fan too.

if... you're already counting down until the season opener in October. if...you are SUPER supersticious on playoff game days. Even up to the color bowl you eat your cereal out of in the morning, because you seriously think it will effect the outcome of that night's game. <- guilty. (It has to be red or white or a shade of those colors... pink, gray, etc.) if... you have permanent lines and bags under your eyes from staying up to watch those late night West Coast games.

Ever since I saw that second Ducks goal go in on Sunday, I've been both nervous and anxious about this game. I want to be optimistic and say that we WILL see a game 7! Please Wings, make my prediction right! GO WINGS!!!! To quote Winston Churchill..."Never, ever give up."

I wanted so badly to stay up, but I was seriously falling asleep during the third period. I had a dream last night that they won, and what happens? THEY WIN!!!!

All I got to say is... YAY! I've been waiting to see some news about his contract.

Last night I had a very hoarse throat from screaming so hard when Cleary and Datsyuk scored those magnificent goals. I was sure that we were out of the game after the first 5 minutes of it.

If my mom had her way, the San Jose Sharks wouldn't even exist. She thinks that hockey shouldn't be played past the Mississippi River (except in Canada). She doesn't like all the Southwest and California teams. She says that in this series "the REAL hockey city will win." Let's hope she's right! GO WINGS!

I hope the Wings don't give up this incredible opportunity that they have! I just want to get this series over with. The C on Calgary's jersey is like their own scarlet letter. Their crime... being completely Corrupt, which they will have to pay for. GO WINGS!

This morning I randomly grabbed a couple of jelly beans out of a dish today and guess what color jelly beans I found in my hand... RED and WHITE! Now I have an even better feeling about the game today!

Anyone got a poem, story, etc. that is Red Wing related that would be cool to share? I had to create alternate lyrics to a song for a creative writing class last year, and it just so happen to be the playoffs (even though they were short lived). I decided to write alternate lyrics to Toby Keith's Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue. I think that I named it Courtesy of the Detroit Red Wings, and it had a chorus that said... "Hey Yzerman put your name at the top of his list, and Brendan Shanahan started shaking his fists. And the octopus will fly, and it's gonna be hell, When you see Zetterberg start shooting that puck." If you listen to the actual song, it's pretty close. I'll have to try and find the rest of the lyrics. I remember that my teacher thought it was pretty cool. Anyways, if you have anything... please post it! Support the Wings with your creativity! GO WINGS!

My dad was telling me that when my parents went on their honeymoon they went to see Toronto Maple Leafs game, and he said that it was VERY quiet. He said that it was almost weird how quiet they were during the game. They just would watch the game, and not say anything. This was almost 20 years ago, but still.

I've got a beautiful (if I do say so myself) homemade sign in the front window of my house so everyone who drives by can see it. I'm also cleaning out my change purse with all the cherry slurpees I'm buyin'. But, anything for the Red Wings! Oh yeah... can't forget about my Zetterberg jersey!
