(senility) He's going to absolutely ruin Ellis' jersey, those black marks will never come out. (that doesn't include misses and blocked shots). Downey's a great character guy and has lots of grit and heart. Unfortunately he's not a good hockey player. Sammuelson should never be on the first two lines or PP, but he should play. I'd love to get Abdelkader in (over mac, hartigan, sammy or *snif* even cuddles)

If he chooses to go to Vancouver to get individual playing time instead of Detroit to win with a team, we probably wouldn't want him anyway. Sounds like a me-first prima dona. He and Luongo can brush each other's hair.
