Going the p2p route can be a harrowing ride at times. If you get as rabid about Wings games as I do there will be nights (about 10%) you will want to go on a rampage as you frantically, and fruitlessly, scramble to find a stream. However, there are other nights (probably 40%) where the stream is beautiful, and life is wonderful, and birds sing. The rest of the time (50%) it's a really low quality stream where you can only tell who is who on the ice by their position and skating style. At over $100 i'm torn almost 50/50 about whether to weather the p2p route again, or get the CI. Check out the free trial at the beginning of the year and then compare it to p2p.

Williams is not a very good hockey player. He will languish in Atlanta, and Atlanta will be worse trying to use him on their team.

Avery Chelios, Lidstrom, Drapes, Malts, Mac (if he's back)..they'd keep him in check. Sadly, he's asking too much $ for what he'd deliver. (But here's hoping) Yeah, sign up Avery and Shanny That'd be awesome!

A league that actually competes with the NHL would be a good thing. It might be the only thing that could keep Bettman and the owners from completely ruining hockey by turning it into a McDonalds franchise. ("The new NHL, now with more vanilla!")

I seem to remember reading at one point around the deadline that he indicated he didn't want to be a rental player, and that he wanted to be a part of the team for the whole year. I'd love to see him on the Wings.
