I liked Hull soo much better when he kept his mouth shut and scored goals for us... Now it seems that he's just bitter that he's a past figure of hockey, especially the Wings, and he hates it. Looks like our focus is starting to become obtaining Jason Blake. Looks like it'll be between us and the sharks. Personally i believe Jason Blake will not only give us more speed (which is a must in the new NHL), but also a scoring touch which we need badly right now (Minus the homer, Zett, and Dat line). He's a younger player who can score (having 29 goals already) but also if he plays well for us we would have to consider to sign him this offseason (pending how he plays under Bab.) because he'll looking for a 5 year deal worth 18 million which is 3.8 a year. I don't believe LeClair is the player that he used to be for the Flyers any more, but never-the-less he is a proven goal scorer who has been placed on waivers by the Pens.. Could this be the sniper on the Powerplay that the wings could use??? Or is he over the hill and a waste of a pickup for the wings? Thoughts..
