First, look up the word "trader".. The definition is not: –noun 1. a person who betrays another, a cause, or any trust. 2. a person who commits treason by betraying his or her country. That would be a traitor. That's the word you're looking for. Secondly, you're way off base. I love how people on here say "Player X should come here and take a discount." "Take a discount" is fancy talk for "get paid less than you can elsewhere" or "take a pay cut". I don't fault him one bit for going where he thought he could make a difference and get paid what he feels he's worth. People need to take the emotion out of this and think logically. They're absolutely no reason to be mad or boo him. He answered honestly to a question that was posed. No smoke, no fire.

You did fine. As for my guess - the Wings trade the 3-2nd round picks for 6-3rd round picks, then in a stunner, they stand up, flip the draft table and declare "OUR TEAM IS GOOD ENOUGH!" and promptly exit the arena forgoing the rest of the draft for a shopping trip to Mall of America.

Nashville's primary nickname is "Music City". The pick ties that moniker in with Tennessee by placing the 3 stars inside of it. Notice though that the 3 stars are not completely mirroring the flag. The official state flag has the top left star slightly higher than the rest. It's subtle enough that most Tennesseans will get the shout out and other folks will just think "oh, they have 3 stars on their jersey". I almost wish they did that on a 3rd jersey with the right colors though.

Yep, 3 star state flag.. Being a Tennessean, I like it. With the possibility of no NFL this year and a looming NBA lockout - The Preds have to capitalize on a great chance to seize the limelight as the only professional sport in the state (for a season). They got 99 problems but a logo ain't one?

Lots of interesting stuff in that HF thread.. so much drama and intrigue. Some folks were speculating the combination of a bunch of the little leagues to create an ECHL "Superleague". Does anyone know if that's an actually possibility or is it just an internet forum dream?
