WHAT?? I hate the MudSlugs, but they were a great rivalry to the Riverkings.. Bummer. OK, and after reading all the above and checking around, apparently the Riverkings are moving to the SPHL. Ugh.

Although, the end result was not a cup, I would like to say THANK YOU to the Red Wings for another AMAZING season. It's great to be a Red Wing fan and watch this team night in and night out through all the ups and downs.

It's almost comical how Detroit goalies seem to half-ass the regular season and then flip the proverbial switch in the playoffs. Howard's been flat out great in this round. If not for him, there wouldn't be a game on Tuesday. GO WINGS!

Preds in I'm not sure how many games. Rinne's not playing that great - he laid 2 goose eggs in their Duck series - but he gives the Preds a chance every night.. Luongo is also not playing well. Couple that with the 7 game series and I think the high powered Canuck offense falls to the 5 seed. *this would be a perfect scenario for me - Wings win and Preds win - then I'd get to go to WCF games.. I've been to playoff games, but never anything deeper than the first round.

Modano was on Scott Ferrall's show tonight on Sirius. He said that he's feeling good for the playoffs but that this season's been a drain mentally and physically and he has been thinking for the last few weeks that this is it for him. He said he's thinking it will be a deep run and then he's moving on to something else. So, take it for what it's worth - straight from Mo's mouth, he's thinking retirement.

I was going to answer this as well.. MI DEFINITELY honors TX. http://www.usacarry.com/concealed_carry_permit_reciprocity_maps.html I carried in MI with my TN permit and never had an issue.

Except that the PM stops running at midnight.. found that out the hard way.. I think we stayed at the Marriot or Radisson.. it was like stop #4 on the PM. Nice place, not too expensive and good security.
