I called today and explained my frustration of being caught in the middle of two corporate giants. Dude looked at my account and offered free Center Ice since I already had it ordered. He then asked if there was anything else he could do. When I mentioned the price discrepancies between them and Dish, he looked up my account and dropped the HD fee for a year. So, I got free CI (which I pay for every year anyway) and $120 credit. I would still love to see the 10 or so games I'm gonna miss, but saving money will help me get over it. I advise anyone with Dtv to call. You don't even have to get mad or ask for a supervisor. They seem simpathetic to the issue and will comp you pretty handily.

I found this on ebay tonight.. Quite the collection. ebay SC Jersey collection Opening bid is $10,000. I wouldn't have an idea how to place a value on this, but I have a feeling 10K is the opening bid and not even close to the reserve price. I also found a guy that wants $1,000 for a Chelios game worn. I just don't see that price happening. It's the 05/06 playoffs, not even a Cup winning year.

The jersey looks fine except for that HORRID black nameplate. What were they thinking?

This mostly pissed me off because I spent 3 f-ing hours watching the draft waiting for the payoff and instead - BUPKIS.

$475K IS a helluva bargain. However, the Joe is VERY outdated by today's standards. I actually missed almost 1/2 of the 2nd period of the game I was at standing in line to pee in a trough. Time has not been kind to the JLA. Imagine how bad it will be in 20 more years. Build a new home and bulldoze the Joe.
