AO chipped out the Loonie that was buried in the ice at the World Championships. I'm not sure how I feel about it. The Russians passing it around and kissing it is a bold statement. Kinda like people f'ing with the octopus. Some might says it's bad sportsmanship. Link

That's my point. He's destined to be a superstar and break a bunch of records, but he has no control as a leader. He let's his players run wild and has no control over them. A Captain leads his team and keeps them in check.

I'm still VERY positive. I never thought sweep. Despite the lack of effort in 1 & 2, they're too good to give up 4 straight. Original prediction - Wings in 6. Revised prediction - Wings in 5.

You superstitious son of a guns.. How about blaming it on the fact that the Wings got out hustled at certain points of the game and that the Wings hit a couple brutal posts.

I thought I was the only superstitious one.. I had the Z jersey on for the 1st two Pen goals. I removed the jersey and set it on the couch. The Wings netted a goal. I left it on the coach. Prior 2 games I hadn't put the jersey ON until after the first goal in each.

I think this is a decent gimmick but it has the worst execution ever. The WINGS are in the WHITE road jerseys. The Deadbirds are in the BLACK home jerseys. If the Pens wanted to "make a statement", shouldn't it be the BLACKOUT at the Mellon Arena? - Have all the fans in BLACK t-shirts.
