I can't hate on that. If another fire department came along and offered me more money, I'd probably have to go. As much emotion as we fans want to put into it - at the end of the day it's a business. Teams trade money for work. If someone wants to trade you more money for your work, are you really telling me that you'd say no? Not everyone is willing to take the "hometown discount" in a career field that could end in a second via injury.

No, probably not. However, it does make us feel better. And, who's to say this won't be THE petition to work? Believe me, I would LOVE to. Geographically and budget-arily however, I cannot. The fake check/sign idea is great and I hope we can see 1000 of them per game for the rest of the playoffs.
