Exactly.. Kicking themselves in the ass on the friggin golf course. Boston sez: trade our leading scorer and captain - BRILLIANT!!!! I can only speak for myself, but if I were there during the game I would have been friendly and trashed talked back and forth.. however if you kept hasseling me on the way out, I may have gotten stupid. Or, depending on your demeanor during the game, I may have been humble... It really depends on the people around me...

No, IF we lose, it won't be all his fault. However, I do think he's taking the roster spot of younger players that may be able to do a better job right now. Everyone that's been defending Bert mentions that he's only played 8 games, yada yada.. EXACTLY!!!! If he's only had 8 games to get prepared, why bet our future on him? And I hope you know that the "Mrs Bertuzzi" was meant in jest. I appreciate all other Red Wing fans, I just thought it was funny.

Sorry to offend you Mrs. Bertuzzi. Chance? Well, the chance in question is the chance that he would be an asset or a liability in the playoffs. So far, in my opinion, your husband has been a liability. NOTICE - this is MY opinion, you do not have to agree. Obviously, Illitch, Holland and Babcock do not agree. I'm fine with that. They make money and get paid to win games as the people in charge. I merely pay for them to do their work.

I'm not saying I agree with this thread, because infact I disagree BUT does the coach make the team or does the team make the coach? Seriously, look at the teams he's had in the playoffs? If you disagree, remember that Dave Lewis rode us into the playoffs as well. Dis Dave? make sure you dis Babcock.

I'm not expecting much from him. I didn't think we should have taken the chance. Also, I think he got off easy for the Moore deal. However, I'm giving him a chance as a Wing fan. So far - not impressed. We have a couple of younger players who obviously outplay him and yet - bert gets minutes. ---- Teams sign players at the deadline to be the hero. To make a difference. HE HAS NOT BEEN THAT PLAYER.

Problem is - it's not ONE game and it's not even one game IN THE PLAYOFFS. He's had at least 2 VERY s***ty games by my count. Here's a guy brought in at the deadline to be a superhero. He's been anything but. After all is said and done, I just want him to be judged a better choice than Nashville choosing Floppa. NOT saying we should have gone for Foreskin, but just that we chose a better player from those available.

Last I knew, we still won WW2.. Also, I'll still have an OK night. At the end of the day, yeah my favorite team of all time and all sports lost BUT it's still just a game. 1 of 7 to be exact. IT'S JUST A GAME.
