That's basically all I was trying to say in the first place and i agree with a lot of what you said here. Does Crosby deserve the attention he gets from the media compared to everyone else? No. And never once did I say 'Crosby Wins', or anything even remotely close to that, I said I'd take Datsyuk. So dont give me this "thanks for playing" ****** bag s***, you don't know everything.

The thing is, +/- is an unrealiable stat, especially when looking at individual games. Dats ended the year +34, a good number. But there were two games this year where he was -3, his last 3 regular season games he recorded 0 points and a -4. Having one bad game does not make someone bad defensively. Crosby is no Datsyuk when it comes to defense, not even close, but he gets the job done. I guess what i took from his argument was that he took one game as a sample for Crosby and compared it to the way Datsyuk plays on most nights. Seems a bit off to me.

One of us is missing something here, i dunno if it is you or me. I know which game he is talking about, it was a regular season game against Tampa which Pit won 6-4. I guess its possible i didn't understand his point, but whatever.

By no means am I defending Crosby, or anyone else, but this argument is horrible. That's the only time it happened and his team won the game. Crosby and the others you mentioned are absolute monsters on the offensive side, and there's no denying that. Would I rather have Dtasyuk? Yes. But I wouldn't be too angry if i had to settle for Crosby.

Draper is is 2nd in the NHL in faceoff percentage, do you realize how crucial defensive zone faceoffs are? or any faceoff for that matter? Explain how Draper has been horrible without using "-13". He still has the defensive skill, he just doesn't put up points anymore.

Great season, everyone. I love the competition. Congrats to North Guy for the repeat, that's really impressive. I'm pretty happy with my result, can't complain about 3rd in my first full season. I'm lookin forward to next year.

Nope. Think about it, what's more amazing to see, what actually happened on that bball shot, or if it just went it normally? I would say what actually happened, it was crazy, like you said a one in a million chance. Now think about Ribeiro's goal. What would have been more amazing to see, him pull off that move and roof it knocking the water bottle off, or seeing it bouncing around and trickling in like it did? I think it is much more appealing to the eye when something like that is clean, not bouncing around. We see goals trickling by the goal line like that all the time.

Yeah, i'm not impressed. He didn't actually score the goal, the puck just happened to take a lucky bounce after Budaj made the save. Plus the whole between the legs thing is old to me.
