02 and 08...Red Wings. What's your point?

I think we should go after the President's trophy. We can't rest players now, you cant sit them down while they are playing terrible, it's not benching them at this point, it's letting them off the hook. We need some motivation, and if it is going after the trophy then we need to do it, we can't go into the playoffs like this.

I agree that Leino should probably be in the lineup in favor of Kopecky, but you have to understand that there is more to good defense than +/- and takeaways.

I think it is mainly because last year, without Rinne the Preds were a playoff team, and the Jackets were 13th in the west without Mason. Currently, the Jackets are 7 spots higher than last year, and the Preds have dropped out of a playoff spot. Can the Preds still get in? Of course, but the voters see Mason as a big difference maker and Rinne as a guy with good numbers.

I absolutely LOVE how this is a LGW holiday. I remember listening to it on the radio. We didn't have cable at the time (i don't know how i survived) so we decided to head to my grandparents house who were in Florida on vacation. We got there and the cable had been turned off for the month that they were gone, it was like a nightmare. Anyway, it was a perfect game for McCarty, the Wings, and their fans and i gotta believe it gave us quite a boost in the playoffs and WCF. i will never forget this game.

Why bring crosby into this, seriously, the two scenarios don't even compare. If Staubitz let him take the tape off then why was he chasing him? If Tootoo stands there and takes the tape off instead of backing up he gets his face caved in without being able to defend himself. If Tootoo was certain a fight was going to happen he wouldn't have taped his finger in the first place. He isn't going to hold up play before a faceoff so he can take tape off because they are now both on the ice and are gunna fight. As for not "attacking my point of view", i dont see how what you said was any different from what i said. you could've not called me a name and sent me a message, but you stooped to my level. i admit i shouldn't have called you stupid, there is no reason for that, but i think your hatred for tootoo is causing you too take this too far.

I hate Tootoo as much as any Wings fan, but you are being stupid right now. They squared off, they were ready to go when tootoo realized he needed to get the tape off. he started backing up and taking the tape off at the same time, and when he threw it away he went after staubitz. it is extremely clear, and there is no other explaination.

What a go! Man that was awesome.
