Last season i was at my buddy's house (has ATT U-verse or whatever) and Murph was doing some color for a game on HD Net (flyers vs. sabres i think). Hes a good guy, but i wouldnt be sad if we lost him to that, he doesnt have that TV personality.

Make sure if he is buying composite that he is spending at least $150. The composite sticks that cost around $100 are always crap, people just buy them because they think they are upgrading from wood, but they dont perform any better than wood and cost 4X as much. By the way Bauer Vapor sticks, best composites ever made, ive used the XX, XXX, and XXXX and loved them all. Easton and Warrior seem to have durability issues too, but maybe i just get unlucky with them.

Funny you should mention that. I have one of those red wings desk calendars in which you tear off the page each day, and that was the trivia question for today, however with one MAJOR flaw. Which Red Wing scored the series-clinching double-overtime goal to defeat CHICAGO in Game 7 of the 1996 Western Conference Semifinal? Are you kidding me? I was furious when i read it, at least they had the answer right.

I like how the first thing that shows up over the video says "210th pick of the 7th round". You would think they would find someone with a decent knowledge of grammar to do the wording.

I hope he keeps 93, i sorta like the numbers in the 90's. Homer stuck with 96 after he gave up 15 to Dmitri Mironov.

Wow, there is no need to get angry here. Chicago is making strides. They had a run at the playoffs last year. Thier two best players are 19 and 20 years old and they just signed the best UFA D-man out there. This is a playoff team now, or at least they should be.

Huet is not a "bright, young" goalie, he will be 33 by the start of the season, however, i am happy to see that chicago is improving, and i am looking forward to our resurging rivalry with them.

Man, i wanted to try williams' stick, i got a couple of Mark Mowers sticks though and i am truly missing them, i wish they made his curve standard.

I don't get why it would be named after an individual, considering it is a team thing. Yes, the jennings was, but that is given to the goaltender so it is a bit more personal. But the idea behind it makes sense.

Maybe just cuaght them at a bad time but i went down there in February to watch the tigers play in spring training and we caught a lightning game against the wild and there were no more than 12-13 thousand there. it was however quite loud in there.
