I work at Metro Sports, we sell a lot of hockey stuff, and we see a lot of broken sticks. I must say for all who think easton sticks are the most durable, you must be getting lucky, because there is no composite stick that we see more come back in that are broken than easton. We rarely see bauers and that is what i use. When the Vapor XXX lite's came out we got some leftover pro-stock ones from the red wings. we got Kronwall, Lang, Holmstrom, and Mowers. I bought a mowers stick and have had it for about a year and a half, before that i had a Vapor XX that lasted me two years. Bauer is the best for sticks As for the other equipment. I have mostly Jofa (now RBK) and Bauer. I have CCM pants and Easton skates from '03 before they started to suck.

It may seem like it but this is not true. The only difference is that composite sticks break in one spot, wood sticks split either on the blade or down the shaft so it isn't as obvious.

when did this happen? there were a few times when he had the puck and there were two guys on him, but when did he push them away and do anything useful with it? when the puck was in the corner he'd try to tap at it unsuccessfuly with his stick and then back off.

No thank you. i am not a bertuzzi fan and i dont want him back. i know he was hurt, but he showed absolutely no heart out there. if he was healthy enough to play, then he was healthy enough to give some sort of effort, and he didn't. he was lazier than lang and i don't recall him winning one battle for the puck. spend the money on someone else who gives a s*** and will actually help this team out.

agreed, if he and zetterberg didnt get off to such slow starts this year, no question we woulda had 2 guys with 100 pts.

looks like you made a couple of these threads, so ill post here too no thank you on bertuzzi, i dont think i can handle him for an entire year if he is going to play like he did in the playoffs, which was a lot of gliding and not much else. even if he was hurt, he showed no heart whatsoever, we can spend that money on someone else. also, cheli and lidstrom have at least 2 more years in them. lidstrom maybe another 5. unless cheli's play really starts going downhill, he will be around.

yeah, my brother said he would have rather been shut out, but i have to say, i feel much better about actually giving an effort than i do getting blown away, even if it was for only 20 mins. great season wings, we will get them next year.

YES! everytime the wings just throw it at the net from a bad angle it is always high, which results in NO rebounds. when they actually do shoot it low he is giving up huge rebounds and noone is there to get them. Our strategy needs to be shoot it low and crash the net.
