Typical Hawk fans. They have one season of success and now they have the biggest mouth on the block. Couple years ago you'd never see one show his face around here. I used to go to games all the time at the United Center and you could put your feet on the chair in front of you. I felt like it was an NHL game just for me. The team was basically giving tickets away and people still didn't go to their games. The fans then at least had a level of hockey knowledge. When I went to a game last year, less than half of the people I spoke to could tell me the last time they won a cup or what number Bobby Hull wore. I really don't mind the team, but their fans are the ultimate class of morons. As for the the team, good for them. I wasn't sure they could get it done but I guess they've solved it for now.

Thanks for clearing that up, I'm convinced a lot of people like to use that word but don't know what it actually means. I feel bad for Ballard, everybody's calling him an idiot but I've seen countless players swing their sticks in frustration after a goal. I think it was a matter of time before somebody messed up badly.

Can someone explain to me why Laraque never got a game misconduct on Kronwall? The inconsistency in this league is amazing, the league feels it's serious enough to give him 5 games but the ref didn't think it was bad enough to kick him out. I just don't get it.

With all these injuries you guys want to also sit Bertuzzi? I'm all for throwing him on the bottom lines (which sends the same message) but further reducing our depth doesn't make any sense. Also, I think we're still forgetting another big weakness that lost last nights game for us. Penalty killing. On the first goal, Arnott was on the top of the circle with no coverage and still managed to bang in his rebound. I was screaming at the TV when I saw that. Eaves should of had him, but nobody wants to talk about it because everybody has unconditional man love for him. He also was put on his ass a few times. Interesting stat from last night was that no one on the Wings was a minus player, because our penalty kills sucks.

I pretty much agree with most but I'd like to see Abs on the Helm - Eaves line. Bertuzzi and Leino need to switch, and since Zetterberg and Cleary are playing well it seems like the only solution. Leino-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Bertuzzi-Zetterberg-Cleary Abdelkader-Helm-Eaves May-Draper-Miller It's sad how little options we have left.

I used to get mad about it and then I sat back and thought about how much it has to suck to be a Hawks fan. Since I was kid I've had random stuff thrown at me, threatened to get my ass kicked, and heard a whole "classlessâ„¢" slew of words yelled like, "f*** Detroit" "Osgood sucks" "******* *******" "Your football team sucks" and my personal favorite, "Go back to Detroit" (because all Wings fans live inDetroit) They also like to make fun of Detroit's economy and act superior when they are really feeling insecure. It's good stuff.
