I thought he was injured in the finals? As far as Sykora goes, he's consistently been a 20 - 30 goal scorer and can still manage to put up 50 - 60 points. If we can sign him for a fair amount, then I see no reason why not*. Yeah, Holland should of acted earlier. Too bad he was too busy trying to sign Hossa, Leino, and figure out the Hudler mess. Sykora is 32...not really much older than anyone we have been talking about (at least around the same age). What do you expect? Everybody wants Holland to replace those '88 goals' but a 20 goal scorer isn't good enough. I'm really at a loss at what people want Holland to do with so few options. Not only does this player have to be the second coming of Christ, but they should also play here for a huge discount because we're the Red Wings.
