I don't get it, we go to the Pens forum to post something constructive and we get banned. This moron posts everyday and doesn't. Can we just get it over with?

Opps. Maybe I'm the one being cocky.

True...but in Osgood's case, the guy has won three* cups and gets no respect for it. What was the old Patrick Roy joke on Jeremy Roenick? "I cannot really hear what Jeremy says because I've got my two Stanley Cup rings plugging my ear." Until you have won the most important trophy, you should have no room to be cocky.

To answer your question, yes, Anaheim is a bunch of cheaters.

Go Islanders!

On the eve of the Stanley Cup finals, it's not unusual to feel a little nervous for your team. Players feel it all the time and we as fans do too. I want you to post one thing that makes you confident the Red Wings will win back to back cups. It can be anything from "Lidstrom is a nice guy" to "Hossa will tear the mother#$*C&(#* house down." Try to keep it to one short answer and no images. I'll start off with a point that George Malik made. The Red Wings know what it is to have the Cup and when you have something that has brought a city, state, friends, and family a huge amount joy...you will try your hardest to keep that something being threatened. Go Wings

What does Max Talbot have in common with Brian Campbell?

Racist. Oh man, that's still cracking me up. So if Talbot hates Americans does that make his a racist too? Anti-Amerinite! -

Haha..That was funny and confusing at the same time, but that's what you get when you deal with Pens fans. Apparently, their fans also think we only have fans in Sweden and Russia too Pathetic, go back to your board and revel in your ignorance -
We just can't catch a break with this scheduling s*** either. Back to back games and only two days off after a five game series. A one day break between cities. C'mmmmmmmon NHL, your breakin' my balls here....

I'm going to add one more, the confidence our players got with increased minutes from the last two games. It's got to feel really good to beat a team without your top two players.

Not relevant to anything, I just remember laughing really hard when Datsyuk was blatantly tripped in game 6 last finals and nothing was called. Stuff like that needs be called in this series, and the little stuff needs to be let go. If this is another battle with the refs (which arguably the last two series had their fair share of bulls***) then you will not see Wings fans giving credit while they are still angry.

Scotty Bowman is the best one.

Abdelkader, Leino, or Meech are not usually full time roster players, together they've really only played a handful of games this season. Our depth helps even out injuries, but you shouldn't expect a lot of minutes from inexperienced players. I'd say the Wings more so roll 3 lines, and will occasionally throw the 4th out there to bring energy and rest the other lines.

Anybody have an online stream? No SopCast please because I have a Mac, and CBC won't let me watch it because I'm not Canadian enough

I like a lot of Hawks players...Sharp, Keith, Bolland, etc. But after living in Chicago for months, their fans are the pieces of s***. Hence, no respect for that team. I also think their managment is a joke, even post Bill Wirtz. They got so excited with the team they had, they go out and spend a ridiculous amount of money on Campbell, and sign what is essentially an expensive backup. Also, when you suck for that long and that bad, your bound to pick up a strong assortment of youth. That's not Rocky Wirtz "turning it around" besides him actually allowing fans to watch the team on TV. Had they not stolen Bowman from us, I'd really be laughing.

I don't know if any of you were at the game last night, but those of you who watched it, remember Ken saying, "Wow seems like there’s a lot of Wings fans here," because of the Lets Go Red Wings chant? My mom lives in Chicago, so I've been to many Detroit vs. Chicago games at the United Center and there is always a decent turnout of Wing fans, but never warranting the eruptions like the crowd had last night (especially on a Tuesday). Well I spoke to my uncle today who went to the game and is a Hawks fan, and he said the fans were so fed up (and drunk) at the way the Hawks were playing that their fans were sparking much of the "Let's Go Wings" chant. I can't imagine being a player on the Hawks right now, or have the stomach to be a fan. They are like the Lions, whenever the team seems like its going to get better, management and injuries make them even worse. Willie, my heart goes out to you.
