I just bought a road Ovechkin jersey and the seller has been extremely communicative, even changing the size of the jersey for me after I placed my order. The order ended up being $60, the picture of the jersey looks identical to an actual reebok edge jersey, and it's going to be here in a week or less. I recommend contacting the seller before you decide to buy something though. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

I wouldn't say that. Burke essentially got a player for free and one he is also familiar with. Pretty safe bet when you've got nothing to lose.

When we resigned him for so much money many people were freaking out. It's not so much about rubbing people's faces in it as it is more keeping people's emotions and over exaggerations in check. I remember someone saying his resigning was the end of the Red Wings as we knew it, but in the end the team was just getting started. At the time, I took comfort in Steve Yzerman saying "he's a special kind of player," and that's why he got the contract that he did. He wasn't wrong about that.

The East has no defense. Boston has a good GA but that is also partly to do with the stellar performance of Tim Thomas in the first half.

I don't know how old that kid was but if it was me, that stick would never have left my hands. Even if it was an employee he would of got a big F word from me had he tried to take it. Why would anyone have to check in a stick? And after the game was over? Feel bad for the guy but seriously use some common sense, especially in a big city like Chicago. I thought the best part was when he says Datsyuk got a burst of speed from the wind RIGHT HERE! Nothing happens besides Datsyuk going through the defenders and you don't really see any huge burst of speed.

Whoa, whoa, whoa First of all, Carcillo would not put up numbers close to Lucic, and if he did it would only be because he played on a line with Pavel and Hank as you suggest. Savard and Kessel aren't Datsyuk and Zetterberg either. Also, I don't see where you get your logic that 6'0 205lb. Carcillo would be "the one roughing up" 6'4 220lb. Lucic? Don't begin to tell me Carcillo is tougher either because Lucic beats the s*** out of people. My point? Lucic is a top line player and Carcillo is a third line agitator. Lucic all the way.

Every team in the league would take Lucic.

As good as Pronger is, I wouldn't like it much. There is just something about him I cannot stand. While I didn't like Chelios much when he played against him, I had a certain respect for him. Can't say the same for Pronger.

Is there a stat anywhere that accounts for total scoring opportunities allowed? I think that would be a good indicator, as 20 shots is different from 20 shots including 10 good scoring opportunities.

I think it's strange too, I've always liked Gratton. I know we have no room to bring him in but he is a very good third line agitator.
