Blake's comments are weird considering Chelios's conversation with him and that he was frustrated with losing. Also, considering that LA see's him as a opportunity to get picks/prospects, it's weird that he wants to stay.

If we actually had secondary scoring. The Z-D-H line would probably be together and holding a good pace. But no Cleary, and the poor excuse for a secondary liner who doesn't even need to be named is going to cause problems. Plus, I see Filppula fighting a real confidence battle right now.

That was my first thought. Especially since it doesn't add up that a guy making a half million a year would want some women's purse and stand outside with it after he took it. Ok so let's recap. 1) Walker demands a trade, and is turned down. Which means St. Louis doesn't want to trade him. 2) We are St. Louis's division rival, so trading with us would be highly unlikely, especially since they are playoff bound. (Does anyone know the last time the Wings even traded with the Blues? If ever?) 3) I wouldn't want Walker either, he's got good size, but he's has a whopping ONE point this season. I'd rather have a steady d-man who could also play the 2nd PP unit, which Blake can do.

I'd take that trade. I don't think Marleau is done just yet. He has too much talent for it to just dissapear, although the playoffs are a different story.

I don't care about the outcome of this game anymore, I'm over it. What I am not over is that terrible "DIVING" call on Holmstrom in the first. What horses***, stuff like that is really going to pisss me off in the playoffs.
