OMFG You guys are never happy. Rafalski is fine. Shut the f*** up.
-
I loved Danny Markov, but I wouldn't say he had solid puck skills or above average skating.
-
Watching that goal vs Edmonton made me miss Markov.
-
Nathan Horton would be beautiful, but you guys are either high or dreaming if you think Florida will trade him for a deal that doesn't include Fippula, Cleary, Franzen, Kindl, Picks, and or even a Datsyuk. Mike Keenan isn't running things anymore, sorry.
-
This period needs to end.....Babcock needs to wake his boys up.
-
Why the f*** is the center ice ref making that call? WTF?
-
I'm nervous for this one. No predictions for me, just give me a win.
-
How do you let a team tie it after scoring with about a minute left is beyond me. Here's an idea, DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET IT THE f*** OUT. Cleary, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Lidstrom should all have been out there that last minute. I don't care what the lines are, you put your best players out and finish them off, end of discussion. I'm not angry because it's just another regular season game, and we did get a point, BUT C'MON! So frustrating to see.

Oh god...can you imagine the s*** storm at LGW if that ever happened to the Wings?
-
San Jose Fogs? lol
-
If Nick wasn't here, we wouldn't be either. I'll go with him until he retires.
-
lol nice... Yeah there was also an episode where Shatner borrowed the Stanley Cup (he "knew people" lol) and then put his name on it because he thought he deserved to be on it.
-
IMO, Adam Foote did much more to hurt individual Wings players than Floppa did. Don't get me wrong Floppa was dirty, but I hated Adam Foote with his stick/nose always slashing/cross checking/dirty s*** against guys like Holmstrom and Cicarelli. If he helps us win a cup and Columbus doesn't charge up the ass (NO, Sammy and Lilja aren't going to cut it you morons) then fine....but I won't like it. Also, who are you categorizing when you say many Wings fans wanted a healthy Floppa and don't want Foote?
-
I believe that was Fetisov actually...
-
Am I the only one who thinks Sammy won't be traded this season? I mean all the Swedes in the locker room are all pretty tight knit.
-
Don't know if this was posted but I liked his quote. ''During breaks, I just looked around. It was incredible. I thought it was great for the game, and to hell with the cynics.'' - Sabres' head coach Lindy Ruff, offering rave reviews on Tuesday's Winter Classic, played in front of over 70,000 fans in Buffalo.

I'd just like to point out that the Kings beat the Hawks last night 9 - 2 and Blake was still a -1
-
Footer is battle tested, is great positionaly, and plays with a mean streak when it is needed. He'd be awesome for the playoffs, but I think we would need to see the Jackets take a swan dive for it to even be possible.
-
I was wondering... If a guy had 2 goals, 2 assists, and 2 fights in a game would that count as 1 GHHT or 2?
-
Why is everyone so suprised by this? The NHL didn't have the balls before and they won't grow some now.
-
I don't care how bad we beat them, just put that whiny ***** Kariya in his place!
-
You guys are crazy if you think the NHL will suspend him for the season and playoffs. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it but let's be serious here. The NHL doesn't have the balls. Tonight's game was fun to watch but some of the calls on both teams shows how much a joke this league is now. I'm the biggest Wings fan but, Salei's "hook" penalty on Drake made me wanna puke.

Wow, I was there too. I didn't realize they were THAT empty. It may only be because it was the intro/warmups that the seats were so empty at that point. But it's still sad to see. I wish I could afford and have the time to go to Wings games because I'd go to every home game. Nose bleed section or not.

Is no one in this thread going to mention the deliciously crisp passes Rafalski dishes out? The Wings have had a great transition game between the blue lines and I think Rafalski is a big contributor in that department. He's still getting used to playing against different players in the West, give him some time. I do think he has improved greatly in one on one situations as the season has progressed.
