I know what you mean....was it Red Wings weekly where he said, "Hillary and Obama would love the Red Wings as they all lean left "(refering to all the lefty shooters on the Wings,) or something to that effect. I was speechless.
-
Kenny make it happen. Kidding, Alffie isn't going anywhere, but a duo with Zetterberg would be ridiculous.
-
You don't have anything to worry about like that. The worst he might hear is "Ducks suck!" but like someone said, a 13 year old isn't going to get flamed....unless he starts it of course.
-
I think that needs to be answered first.
-
Thanks for confirming that I was right. I knew that never happened and probably never will. Looks like I need new friends
-
Not only that, but can you imagine the gentlemanship going on if players knew their actions could hold long, long consequences?
-
Meebe? Seriously? But cmon, Rafalski is fine and saying he is slower than Lang has to be a joke.
-
Are some of the people on this board for real??? Or is just the all the crack?
-
lol WOW...roller coaster indeed.
-
Well...at least Lilja wasn't playing, so you guys can't blame him.
-
Oh....well that article above says Joan. I knew John was a hockey fan, but I assumed his sister is as well.
-
I think you mean Joan Cusack? Either way, no they didn't show her on the tron but Kid Rock was the only Wings fan they showed all night lol.

I was at the game last night, a few notes... - I have, since I was a kid, hated Blackhawk fans and after tonight I've seen nothing new. I swear their fans only show up to give Detroit fans s*** if they win. The average attendance at the United is usually in the 12000's but last night was packed. Their fans are such pricks, even a little kid had the guts to talk s*** to me (btw, I only wore a Red Wings hat). I've been to games against the Wings in many US cities but their fans are just so pathetic it's hilarious. I pretty much lost count how many of them I told to suck my balls. - This might be cliche, but everything Lilja did was a disgrace. I swear to god does this guy ever stop himself before a pass and think? After Rafalski's penalty, Lilja had two very good opportunities to clear the zone with ample time, instead he lost the puck, lost his stick, and Chicago scored. I was speechless. - I love Rafalski, but tonight was not his night. I don't know what it was but he was about a second off on everything. Enough said. - Chicago did a good enough job containing the ZDH line, but they all looked a little off in their own right. Babs mixed up the lines but I swear this made everyone play even worse. - I actually like Sammy a lot, but last night he made my head hurt. He was definitely shooting the puck (in the legs, sticks, and everything else Chicago put in front of him). Ugh -Tuomo Ruutu can also suck my balls, the wacks he was giving Datsyuk throughout the game was ridiculous. It's too bad Downey wasn't playing, but Kopecky's fight was fun to watch. - On that note, no one seemed to really have a good night. Lidstrom made unbelievable smart plays as usual, but even he didn't seem himself. Weird. Hudler was definitely our most offensively aware player last night. - Seeing Kid Rock on the jumbo tron made my night, you definitely saw lots of Wings go nuts but Chicago fans drowned anything out with boos. It was almost as cool as getting a warm up puck from Drapes before the game, and seeing Chelios mess with Hasek. LOL I had a great time regardless of the score, and I don't think this game is anything to fret. I just hate losing the the Blackhawks, especially 3 times in a row.......

What do you guys think? Trading salaries makes sense to me, we'd definitely see more big name players move around. How long would it take for this to actually be a reality?
-
I wasn't a fan of the change to red at home when they first did it, but it's grown on me now.
-
Not to mention his wife is ******* hot. I saw his house on Cribs one time, he has a badass chopper that the Stars bought him.

DUI can mean a lot of things. Yeah, it was stupid as hell, but I would be suprised if he got pulled over in some Vermont country back road after two beers and just happened to blow over the limit. Or he might of been completely messed up, either way, he's probably not a menace to society. On the other hand, didn't Mark Bell do a hit and run while drunk?
-
I think his quote was cut off. The end should read: "he could really play, with his head down."
-
Depends on how well the top two lines hold up. TSN speculates Spezza's groin injury could be a little worse than the Sens are willing to admit. If so, it would be a blow to that line. I'm also not convinced Gerber is going to keep this pace.
-
That last sentance was so ridiculously stupid I had to read it twice. Also," Kronwall has the tools to ensure that the Norris Trophy takes up a permanent residence in Detroit." is kind of funny. I love Kornner but C'MON!

http://blog.mlive.com/snapshots/2007/11/hi...ents_wings.html Can anyone explain to me what he means by this?
-
I figured it was a compliment of some sort, I just didn't know what he was refering to. But your right, that is dry.

Scott Burnside and Damien Cox both have a interesting debate going on at ESPN on struggling older players (like Modano and Weight) and if older players are really the best answer for a team's success. I particularly liked some of their theories on Forsberg. The question is, do we really need Forsberg? Couldn't hurt, but I want speed and toughness, not a vetran past his prime with glass ankles. Damien has an interesting point on Forsberg post lockout. He's overrated people, and if he's demanding more than three million (which I'm sure he will) he can kiss my ass.
-
I'm pretty sure it was a bad joke.
-
So you don't think his health and his skill come as a package deal? He can have all the skill in the world but if he's not playing, then yes, thats how injury makes him overrated. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Forsberg isn't good, I just think his health precedes his abilities. Especially at the 4+ million or whatever he will command.
